March 27, 2015– Scarborough & Tweed has made a major commitment to reducing its carbon footprint with the installation of a solar energy system that offsets 100% of its electrical usage. By locking in its clean electricity needs for decades, Scarborough & Tweed not only reduces its dependence on carbon-based fuels, but also protects itself from electrical service rate hikes for years to come. The 51.3 kW solar array was designed and installed by SunBlue Energy in Sleepy Hollow, New York.
